I feel so not alone when people talk about struggling to take care of themselves. That is my #1 obstacle and I feel like I can’t tell anyone. I am embarrassed about it, I hate the way I look and feel when I can’t get myself to brush my teeth or my hair or take a shower, I do feel awful and gross but it’s not that simple that it pushes me to actually do it. And people who don’t struggle with it are just like, ew that’s gross.

I'm so sorry for your loss of you 3 beautiful rats, as I'm on my final day with my beautiful female rat nena. I've tried everything possible under the and no vets serve rats in my area so I thinking it's a combination of age and a tumor she has. I'm so devastating at this moment and I've cried for days . I think today may be her last . I just wanted to tell you that your rats never hated you, and I'm sure they were so happy to be with every chance they got with you. I've also gone through addiction and loneliness and you have a beautiful heart and soul and that's why you have felt so much pain. You are sensitive and is why you care for these little friends so much. We are the kind of people who love animals because we appreciate unconditional love. I realize this post is 2 years old but it was very comforting knowing I wasn't the only one feeling this oncoming loss. My whole world is in slow motion almost to a complete stop because sometime this evening it's all gonna set in like a thunderstorm and I'm really scared. I appreciate you sharing your feelings and your videos. Take care❤😢

I know this is an older video but I’m in recovery too and for awhile I was so discouraged about my teeth. They were so bad I thought I would need dentures. I hated smiling, I hated meeting new people bc I knew they would see my teeth and *know*. I thought I had ruined them to the point of no return so I just gave up caring for them all together. Then my therapist referred me to a dentist that works with low income clients and I found out all of my teeth but one are salvageable. It will be a lot of work but now I’m on track to getting my smile back. It’s really easy to feel like you’re already so far gone why even try fixing these things, but it’s never too late. It will take a while but in a year or two it will be worth it. And what is a year or two or five in the span of a lifetime. You’re with it ❤

The thing about suboxone, it's meant to help you then be weaned off after 6 months, not years. Watching doctors keep patients on it for a long time makes me so mad. You can't fully "move on" while on it. It also still gets most people high. 😔

EEEEP I'M LATE! .. I hope my tardiness at least finds you that much closer to your second chip :D .. But it is glad to see more content from you on this matter .. Your initial video coming out about the topic provided a strong influence in my own journey of sobriety .. 7 years clean from crystal meth since April. .. I'm glad that you were able to begin yours much earlier in life than I ... over 40 and often I feel I struggle more than others to deal with these things .. but there will always be days when we struggle .. I hope your youth benefits with far fewer than I .. But It does get ever easier with time to at the very least accept and manage these issues .. And over all .. I am proud of you. .. You are far stronger than you know.
